St Clair’s falls in the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka. This is an 80 meter high waterfall which gets its name from a tea estate in close proximity.


Devon waterfall is 97 meter high waterfall is formed by Kothmale Oya. This waterfall located close to Thalawakale. This named after an English coffee planter named Devon. Devon waterfall also provides facilities to tourists like that of resident places and tea center. There is also a restaurant.




Bopath Ella waterfall is one of the main tourist’s attractions in Sri Lanka. This beautiful waterfall seems as a leaf of “Bo” that’s why it is called Bopathella waterfall. “Bo” is the name of a sacred tree in Sri Lanka.


Ravana waterfall is another popular sightseeing spot in Sri Lanka. This beautiful waterfall has been named after the daemon Ravana. This waterfall is famous for its location as it is located against stunningly beautiful background of valleys and mountains. This waterfall is 131 feet tall waterfall.


Dunhinda waterfall located at Badulla. This beautiful waterfall is 64 meters high. Dunhinda waterfall gets its name from smoky drew drops squirt which encircles the area at foot of this fall.


Ramboda waterfall is the 11th highest fall in Sri Lanka. This gigantic waterfall has three parts being the first part above the road in jungle while the other two parts are close to the road and below the road respectively.


Bakers waterfall is at Horton plains of Nuwaraeliya District Sri Lanka. Bakers waterfall is one of most beautiful waterfall of Sri Lanka. This waterfall at between entrance and worlds end gap of Horton plains. Bakers waterfall is not a single waterfall and it consist several parts.


Horton plain is highest plain and widest grass lands of Sri Lanka. Horton plains National Park situated between Nuwaraeliy, Badulla and Rathnapura Districts. Horton plains National Park was recommended for the tentative listing of World Heritage sites to United Nations Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization.


Addison Bungalow has built in a wonderful and which has a brilliant and very attractive surrounding. When you are traveling from town Haputale through the Welimada road you can find this mind blowing incredible palace. Inside this bungalow architecture reminds you’re an old British house because of it built with many endemic architectural styles of England. The walls of this great bungalow are made with strong block stones and strong timber of Burma teak for the roof and floor which are imported from Malaysia. Sir Thomas Villers the Englishmen who came to Sri Lanka after the British invade was the owner to build the Bungalow in 1887.


In this enchanting hill country of Sri Lanka is located Adam's Peak, the only mountain in the world hallowed by the believers of the four major faiths - Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism and Christianity. Buddhists believe that a depression on the summit of the peak is a footprint of the Buddha himself, placed there on one of his visits to the island.


Traveling down the mountain slopes one comes to Ratnapura – the City of Gems.
